Happy Halloween! It’s pretty exciting that it’s now been a year since I started these blog posts. This month was pretty busy for me with moving, so I haven’t made as much artwork as I would’ve liked. But I still got to work on some fanart and finished up my page artwork for the Hunter’s Mark Bloodborne Anniversary Zine!

Fanart of Casey Jones

After I finished moving I was back in the mood to draw! I’d been drawing my own characters a lot though, and wasn’t really in the mood to design a new one, so I figured I’d just make some fanart.

I ended up drawing Casey Jones from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I thought it would be fun to go with something a bit more scifi inspired with the design, since I had been drawing a lot of fantasy lately.

Digital drawing of Casey Jones from Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He wears a cobbled together outfit, having clearly taken pieces of different sets of clothes and armor and combining them. His weapon is a hockey stick that has been modified with tech parts, with saw blades circling the edge of it and glowing with pink and lime green highlights.

I’m pretty happy with how it turned out! I’ve been really enjoying the style I’ve been trying out, not adding my usual shading and highlights, instead sticking with flat colors but adding more detail to the design. I had a lot of fun with the hockey stick weapon, I decided to draw the form of it with the saw blades out.

Fanart of Dark Sun Gwyndolin

I was watching a playthrough of Dark Souls again started thinking about how cool Gwyndolin’s design is, so I decided to draw him too!

I was nervous about the background but ended up really liking how it all came together! I think the design overall is super cool, with the combination of the moon and sun symbolism and the snakes for legs, it’s just a really unique design!

Hunter’s Mark Zine

While I can’t show off my artwork for the zine yet, I’m excited to say I’ve finished my page artwork for it! I’ll be sure to share links to it on my website and on social media once the full zine is released.
