This last month of the year was very character focused! I drew my player character from Skyrim and continued working on designs for some rpg characters. I also started working on my commissions!
Character Art: Silver Haze of the Moonlight
One of my friends started playing Skyrim for the first time, so while I watched them play I drew the player character from my most recent run. I struggled a lot to get their face and head shape right, but overall I like how it turned out.

They’re a khajiit, and their downtime non-adventuring outfit is the vagrant robes set. I’ve been playing Skyrim on survival mode and I’ve been having a ton of fun with it. Right now their traveling companions are Lydia, Barbas the demon dog, and the manic elytra nymph. When I left off playing the group had just arrived in Riften.
I also drew a silly doodle of them.

Character Design: Rorik
I ended up not liking the color palette I had picked for Rorik’s outfit, so it was time to play around with outfit colors!

I really like the end result I went with. I’ll now be playing him in a rpg system called Draw Steel as a Stealth Alchemist. I really like the backstory I’ve cooked up for him with the dm.
Character Drawings: Rorik
Once I’d finally picked the final design, I moved on to just regular drawings of Rorik.
I redrew the drawing of him in the armor at a higher resolution to share with the rpg party members, and made a ‘my oc in symbolism’ sheet for him. I really enjoy filling out these sheets, I’ve made them a few times for characters and always have fun making them.

While trying to decide what song best fit Rorik, I came across the song ‘Creature’ by Half Alive again, and got inspired to make a full drawing based on it with Rorik. I got the idea to base it on Leonardo da Vinci’s vitruvian man drawing, but have Rorik holding various objects tying into his backstory.

I went outside my comfort zone with the coloring and overall style of it, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. I really liked the concept but not sure about the execution. In his hands Rorik holds a needle with thread, scissors, and a potion bottle. I decided to give him two tails, the last two of the designs I had been deciding between. I wanted to represent the different stages of his transitions.
Commissions
I opened up my commissions at the end of October and have been slowly but surely making progress on them!
The first commission I received was from erkthemerc over on Bluesky to draw their character Dario. I loved learning about the characters backstory and getting to draw him, especially the magical effects!

Figure Studies for New Character
I also began working on some figure studies for a new character. I had the idea to make a porcelain doll warforged character for a dungeons & dragons game, likely going with Bard College of Swords for the class. I did some studies of balerina’s trying to work out posing and general shapes for the character design, here’s some of the sketches from the photos I was referencing!
